In the south of Portugal, near the city of Algarve, in 45 km from Faro airport, is located a small but cozy sandy rockbound beach of Benagil (Praia de Benagil). If you look at the shore from the ocean, then on the right is the Cave of the Algarve de Benagil (Grutas de Benagil).

The local people consider the beach and the cave as different objects. You can go to the through the coast, and into the cave only from the sea. Here begin the miracles. A small beach is hidden right in the cliff with access to the incoming waves. On foot it is not possible to go to it, and it isn’t recommended to overcome by swimming 300 m from the main beach.

The Rock bottom is dangerous even for boats. Not every excursion group approaches the cave, examining it from the surface of the watery surface. The windows of the grotto are visible from 50 m of the height of the coastal rocks, but it isn’t recommended to go down with a dangerous route.
